test_triangle -> boost::python::error_already_set with boost_1_36_0

after a fairly painless build of MeshPy-0.91.1 with lib boost_python-xgcc40-mt-1_36,
demo.py works (up to no pyvtk, ok) but test_triangle ->
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'boost::python::error_already_set'

Versionitis ?
Macosx 1.4.11, powerpc-apple-darwin8-gcc-4.0.1 (GCC) 4.0.1 cd boost_1_36_0/libs/python/test, bjam ->
...failed updating 5 targets... ...skipped 274 targets... ...updated 353 targets... ??

(All I really want today is 2d triangulations like Triangle + simple display, matplotlib ? what would you suggest ?)
